Under 9 wrap up 30/4

Just a quick snapshot from our under nine age group this weekend. Such an exciting age group, this one with 4 teams showing up. We've got lots of numbers, lots of great happy faces and it was exciting to see so many kids out there playing their first game for the year. And for many of the kids even the first game of footy in the Breakers is so very exciting to see.

Our White team went up to Noosa and had a really strong game up there. And then at home, we were lucky to have three of our teams playing. We had the blue team up against the North Shore jets and had a cracking game there and a special mention to Brit Murray from the 15 girls team who umpired the game for us, fantastic to see across the club that our senior players are getting involved and helping in that junior space so well done Britt.

The last game we had the derby so we're actually lucky enough to have the red team play the silver, lots of energy in that game was really good to see lots of smiling faces and lots of sausage rolls.

Big thank you to all our parents who have have jumped up and getting involved in coaching and volunteering and team managing. It's really exciting to see this space the future of the breakers. So looking forward to a big year ahead
