Under 13 Red 30/4

Hey guys, it's Brent here from the Under 13 Breakers red team. We played Noosa today at 1030 at Noosa. The kids got off to a fantastic start they'll pump intensity was high. We actually scored two goals one in the first quarter, to Noosa no score. We're looking really good. And unfortunately after quarter time, Noosa, just switch things on and we just unfortunately couldn't go with them and they ran away big winners in the end 12 goals 8 - 82 to our two goals 1 - 13 to the kids credit, obviously Noosa lifted a year. We just couldn't go with them but they never gave up. So I told the kids that was fantastic to see that that spirit that they never gave up at all. They all tried to help their teammates, they tackle they punch they ran as hard as they could basically they came off and all their faces were the same colour as they jumped off as in the red colour side jumper.

The award winners this week, we're Angus which he was fantastic, Angus he just really linked up really well. He fought hard for the ball, tackled did everything you want, half forward / midfield. And or do we had Max playing the ruck all day, Pretty much. He swapped a couple of times with kids but just never gave up and Noosa had a couple of really big kids so he had a big job against them and Tyrone was our fullback and probably if we didn't have Tyrone they might have kicked another five or six goals easily. And Tyrone just never gave up which was fantastic.

If there was a best on ground player, it would have been Oscar. He was unbelievable. He would have laid 10 to 15 tackles and just polished skills, hand balled, shared the ball did everything you would expect anyone to do on a field so he was definitely our best player by a mile. Overall, great work by the kids looking forward to training this week working on a few things and get ready for next week's game. Thanks, guys.
