Under 11 Blue 14/5

Hi guys Murray here from the Coolum Under 11 Blue Team, after a really good win last week we faced a really strong Pomona team in Pomona. We knew it was going to be a really tough day. They're always physical, really hard at the ball. They started super fast Pomona kicking some early goals. Unfortunately, we couldn't keep up with just how strong they were at the footy. We sort of backed off a little bit and they took a big lead on into halftime. After a bit of a talk at halftime about what we can do, we really got stronger the contest proud of the kids in the second half, they stepped up really challenging for Pomona.

Unfortunately couldn't get any goals but we definitely stemmed Pomona's flow, they still ran away big winners. But we have a lot to learn from that. You know about what we can do at the footy, being tougher, stronger, head over the footy and supporting each other. Best on ground was Harvey, he would just all day up and down the field tried his heart out. Stevie, she had a blinder. She was probably the strongest at our contests, just willing to get in there and have a go and Carter was awesome, great all day. Big thanks to Tyson and the committee for organizing the Mother's Day treats for the teams that played away much appreciated guys and I'm looking forward to next week. Thank you.
