Under 13 Blue 14/5

Hi there Frommy from the Under 13s blue div two team. I hope all the mums had a wonderful day on Sunday and were spoiled by the breakers. Want to commend the club on behalf of all the parents and kids from our team for the club and Tyson for putting on an amazing day well done to the club. Sunday we hosted Maroochydore Mother's Day looking to bounce back from last week's loss to Kawana.

The opening quarter was a tight scrappy affair with both sides applying pressure with the break with a 5 to 1 lead and boys played great footy over the course of the next three quarters, scoring three goals and each of the quarters while Maroochydore only scored three for the entire game. After that stage, and boys gaining reward for their hard work, keeping the Roos scorelss in the last quarter while banging on three late goals. Terrific improvement shown by a few of the players like Nate, Orlando, Reef and Callum plus a love away our key forwards teaming together with both Cooper and EJ as well as Seb scoring six goals each over the course of the three games so far.

Good performance today showing growth that we've learned from her last last week. Looking forward to a big test next week. Just want to also thank Dan and Dean for their assistance on Sunday and Shana who gave up a Mother's Day for our team as Team Manager again. The goals Cooper three, Seb two, Ethan and Jonty both kicked two as well with Callum with one. Best players on the day, Bentley was outstanding, as well as Tommy. As I mentioned, Nate, Reef, Seb, Orlando, EJ, Brock and Cooper. Awards on the day, Ethan, Tommy, Reef and Ricky got the coach's trophy. Great effort by the boys looking forward to our next challenge next week. Thank you
