Under 9 Blue 14/5

G'day you Blues Breakers fans. This is Richard from the under nine and a half's blues team. We took on the Maroochydore Roosy on our home ground this week with lots of Mums there to cheer them on. We had Kelly on debut, which gives us a substitute. But then Vera and Tucker were out through illness so suddenly we were down one. The team played a solid first half and battled hard for possession with Kaya getting lots of the ball through the middle. In the second half, we had some fantastic contributions from everyone.

Tanner went for an incredible run through the forward line only to just miss getting a shot off at goal. Ryan played his best game by far getting lots of the ball and Kai was again brilliant through the middle. Our second half was incredible with every player getting involved and showing their Mum's what we were capable of as a team. Certainly as a coach, I couldn't have been prouder. Awards went to Ryan, Oscar and Ollie but really everyone deserved an award of best game by far.
