Under 15 girls 5/5

Listen to audio match report by Coach Ryan Bell below

You've got you got Ryan Bell Coach of the under 15 girls. On the weekend we played Noosa at our homeground. Noosa showed some great run throughout the game which will able to adjust a few things throughout the game to sort of slow that down so that was pleasing to watch. Our backline again, we're just unreal, special mention to those girls Jaya, Ploy, Claire, Abby and Scarlett down there. We also had her first game Maddie she jumped in and pitched in. So that was fantastic to see her get her hands on the footy for her first game. So it was great all had a great throughout the game. Our pressure was elite again, which I was stoked about tackling was fantastic a handball and link up plays were just so good to watch. So Well done girls.

Little bit of work to do in our forward line but we'll work on that over the next couple of weeks. What's pleasing is the drills are just starting to come to life on the field so the drills we do a training now are really coming through so watch. All and all though Noosa were the better team on the day. Onto our players of the match. So Stellar, she showed great composure when when we needed it to head over the Footy, tackling wrapping it up and you know, sometimes it was three on one sort of thing and she ended up she ended up winning that battle so that was fantastic watch. We know she's got she's got it in her so she's building week by week. Very excited to see how she goes for the rest of the year. I have no doubt she'll dominate.

Our next player the match was Brittany our vice captain. She just seemed to be everywhere on Sunday. I'm really impressed with her, the way she's changed her game. So now she's she's really doing the chase and tackle it over the footy. She's a known ball getter so that didn't surprise me that she got 100 touches but her tackling really, really impressed me on the weekend. So well done for Brit.

And Sophie Bell, our third player of the match, our Captain there. So she played believable her third and fourth efforts of tackling the pressure would have been 20 plus tackles I would imagine she's sort of known for that get over the ball sort of in the bottom of the ruck and tackling but it was really great to see her getting hands on and the link up plays I spoke about earlier that was a lot of actors Sophie and Brittany just through the midfield it was just so good to see a mark and a handball off and that sort of stuff. So that's fantastic. So well done Soph.

So at the end of the game, the Noosa coach commented on our pressure, he was delighted to see that just like we were and he also had mentioned just just a really great sportsmanship our girls helping their players up after a big tackler and accidentals trip from something like that. That's always pleasing to hear so well done girls. We have a bye this week so see you the week after. Cheers.
